ANNUAL FUN WALK/RUN – 2010
As part of the schools holistic endeavours we embarked on our second Annual Fun Walk/Run on the 30th April 2010.  This event is aimed at developing a community within our school and acknowledging that growth in all aspects of our learners is imperative to succeed in the working world.  Throughout the year we encourage the learners of Ridge Park College to participate in physical activities which contribute to this very successful event.

The walk/run followed a varied route around the RPC neighbourhood.  We were supported by the metro police who assisted us most readily in marshalling and control.  Educators also showed their support by guiding and encouraging learners along the way.  The ABI coke bus provided entertainment and music to motivate the girls during the last few meters.

We rely heavily on sponsorship and would like to thank the following contributors Boston City Campus, Johnson and Johnson, RML Promotions, International Hotel School, Pall Mall, FNB, Waltons Back to School, Plessie Technology, Superior Vision, Photonote Pavillion, Floline, Abba Moosa, Overport Fruit and Veg, VM Stationers and Makro, Sweetmax, Limaco
